A DVD documenting the work of renowned Taiwanese-American artist Tehching Hsieh in 1980.
One Year Performance: 1980-1981 sees Hsieh create a monumental durational work in which he punched a time clock on the hour of every hour, twenty four hours a day, for an entire year.
This DVD of unedited stills captures the moment just after Tehching has punched each hour on the time clock, and presents each punch as a single frame captured on 16mm camera.
