Isaac Julien is participating in a range of events under the title Red Africa organised by the Calvert 22 Foundation.
Red Africa will comprise an exhibition, film screenings, talks and events exploring the legacy of the cultural relationships between Africa, the Soviet Union and related countries that flourished during the Cold War.
4 February - 3 April 2016 / Calvert 22 Foundation, London.
Isaac Julien’s publication Isaac Julien: Riot -which is available on Unbound- is the first career-long overview on Julien, situating his work in the context of his personal and intellectual development: the friendships, mentors, night clubs, films, politics, records and the artworks that informed his practice.
The Live Art Development Agency (LADA) established its Patrons list in 2010.
This is an invited group of inspirational artists who maintain an active relationship with LADA and Unbound, lend their expertise and advice, and champion LADA’s work.
